Portal User Interface
Your portal is built on a streamlined Directus interface with custom modules tailored to your role as an Associate. Here’s how to navigate it effectively.
Main Layout
The portal is organized into a main content area with a consistent layout across all modules:
- Sidebar (Navigation)
- Top Bar (Context and actions)
- Main View (Data tables, forms, etc.)
Navigation Menu
On the left-hand sidebar, you’ll find links to the modules you have access to, such as:
- Home: Your dashboard with quick access to key info.
- Prospects: Your list of assigned or created prospects.
- Settings: Your profile and basic preferences.
Clicking an item in the sidebar takes you to that module’s collection view.
Side Menu
In some views (like record detail pages), you may see a secondary menu appear on the left — this allows you to quickly navigate sections or related data within a record (e.g., notes, documents, history).
Action Menu
In the top-right of most pages, you’ll see context-specific action buttons:
- Create: Add a new item (e.g., new prospect)
- Save: Save updates to an item
- Filter/Search: Show filters or search fields
- More Options (⋮): Export, duplicate, archive, etc.
Collection (Item Records) Layout
When viewing a module like Prospects, you’ll see a collection table:
- Each row is one record (e.g., one prospect)
- You can click a row to open it
- Use the search bar, filters, and sort tools at the top to find what you need
The table view may also show important statuses, contact info, or assignment fields at a glance.
Item Detail Layout
Clicking into a record opens the item detail view, where you can:
- View all information in grouped sections
- Edit fields (if allowed)
- Upload files or leave notes (depending on the module)
Use the Save button to apply any changes.
